MASALYA was founded by CA Bhautik Viradiya, a Chartered Accountant who spent years working with systems, audits, and risk controls. This professional journey shaped a strong belief that what we consume every day should be as transparent, accountable, and well verified as our finances.

As he began to question the safety, pesticide residues, and hidden processing behind everyday spices, it became clear that trust in food was often built on claims rather than data. MASALYA was born from this gap.

Ozone gas is one of the safest and most effective ways to clean spices that cannot be washed with water. When ozone comes in contact with the surface of cumin, coriander, or chilli, it breaks down pesticide residues and kills bacteria, fungi, and microbial load. It also removes unwanted odours without leaving any chemical traces behind.


Ozone naturally converts back into oxygen, so the spice remains unchanged in its natural flavour. This process helps reduce contamination while preserving the true aroma, colour, and strength of the spice.

MASALYA spices are made through a careful, multi-step process designed for purity, safety, and real taste. We begin with direct sourcing from trusted farmers, which provides cleaner raw material with a lower pesticide load. The spices are then ozone-cleaned to reduce microbes and surface contaminants. Hand sorting removes stones, dust, and damaged pieces, resulting in a cleaner batch.


Controlled solar drying helps preserve natural colour, aroma, and nutrients without heat damage. Cold storage is used to maintain freshness, while cold grinding protects volatile oils and prevents colour loss. The powder is sieved for a smooth texture and finally packed hygienically to ensure every pack remains pure, safe, and consistently flavourful.
